While we take every precaution to ensure your Pro Boat parts, electric components, and accessories arrive in perfect condition, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary. This policy outlines our straightforward process designed specifically for our global community of RC hobbyists and competitive racers.
Our Return & Exchange Guarantee
We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible:
- Items must be unused, in original packaging with all tags and accessories
- Proof of purchase (order number) is required
- Certain specialized items are excluded (see below)
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the specialized nature of these products, the following cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Kits (once opened due to component integrity concerns)
- Bearings & Bolts (hygiene and safety reasons)
- Electric components that have been installed or used
- Any item showing signs of use, modification, or damage not present at shipping
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps designed with our RC enthusiasts in mind:
- Contact Our Team within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- Receive Authorization – Our RC specialists will review your request and provide return instructions within 1 business day
- Package Securely – Use original packaging when possible, including all manuals and accessories
- Ship Back – Send to our Tigard facility using a trackable method (return shipping is customer’s responsibility unless item was faulty)
- Inspection – We’ll examine the returned item within 3 business days of receipt
Refund Process
Once your return is approved:
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after approval
- Refund Amount: Full item price minus any shipping costs (unless return is due to our error)
- For exchanges, we’ll ship the replacement as soon as the return is approved
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item or incorrect Pro Boat spares/RC components:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue
- We’ll arrange a free return label and expedite your replacement
- In some cases, we may issue a refund without requiring return of the damaged item
International Returns
For our global customers (excluding certain remote regions):
- All customs forms must clearly mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid duties
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable for international orders
